Discussed whole project's flow, things I need to get, where to get it? balloons! sculpt and actions moving forward
Gonna admit I haven't really been making much progress throughout this past month, especially through independent study week. I decided to meet David for the third tutorial anyway, on the 19th of March, to try to sort things out, set some targets, and get things moving.
My first question to David was about where to get the components I need for my project. Before getting to this, we tried to sort out every little part of my project to see what I need to get.
We then further broke this down to what exactly my physical inputs are, and decided that I would need to obtain a flex sensor and a gyroscope. David also suggested that I get a balloon to test out the squeezing mechanic while working on my heart.
After the tutorial, I went to the loan store attempting to get an arduino kit to see what sensors they had so that I could test things out before making a purchase. Unfortunately, all the arduino kits had been checked out by Ian at that time. This prompted some email exchanges between me, Ian, and Dionysia, and in the end I decided to bite the bullet and just buy the parts from Amazon.
Expenses:
(Previous) Cytron MP3 Shield - Approximately £10.00
Flex Sensor 2.2" - £11.40
MPU 9250 Gyroscope board £6.90
Total expenses so far - £28.30
